Doi Su Thep---Buddhist Temple

While the SIM team was here we visited Doi Su Thep, a very wellknown buddist temple. A lot of our students will take their teachers there for the day. Also, it doesn't matter where you are in the city, if your foreign all the "sung teaw" drivers will say, "you go Doi Su Thep." :0) Anyway these are some pics.
There are 306 steps to climb before you come to anything...
Emerald man...
burning of insence...
One of the many places to pay tribute to Budda...
The SIM team from the U.K. ...
Bells are rung by those who walk by. For every prayer offered to Budda there is a bell rung. The more you ring the safer you are from evil opression.
Over looking the City. One of the greatest views I've seen here. :0) This is my home in Thailand.

Let me guess...you counted all those steps as you bounded up, three at a time!

Great artwork, so many superstitions.
